The Need for Accreditation

The Assemblies of the Brethren though do not follow any Sect or any particular theological persuasion, seek to maintain their identity and be as true to the Word of God as possible. They do not wish to compromise on this issue. ACTS believe that they need to maintain the Assembly distinctive and accordingly wish to have an accreditation body of their own.

Statement of Doctrine
  • We believe in the inerrancy and infallibility of the Bible containing the 66 books and also believe that it is sufficient for doctrine and life.
  • We believe that the Godhead eternally exists in three persons – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit – and they are co-equal, co-eternal and con-substantial.
  • We believe that man was created upright but he transgressed the commandment and fell and his fall affected his progeny.
  • We believe that sin has affected the totality of man. Man by his own effort cannot save himself from his sinful state.
  • We believe that Jesus the Son of God became man and offered himself a sacrifice to redeem humanity, rose again conquering death, and will come again to receive the Church unto himself and also to judge the world. We believe that salvation is only in the person of Christ.
  • We believe in the eternal security of the believer.
  • We believe that second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ for the Church is pre-tribulation pre-millennial.
